Itinerary
Arrive in Leh and check into your hotel. Rest and hydrate to acclimatize to the high altitude.
Take a short acclimatization hike in Leh. Visit landmarks such as Shanti Stupa, Leh Palace, and local monasteries. Overnight in Leh.
Drive to Skiu village (2 hours). Begin your trek through the Markha Valley to Markha village. Trekking distance: 3–4 hours. Overnight in tents.
Pass through stunning landscapes, crossing rivers and small settlements. Trekking distance: 7–8 hours. Overnight in tents.
Steep ascent to Kang Yatse Base Camp. Trekking distance: 6–7 hours. Overnight in tents.
Spend the day resting and acclimatizing at base camp. Conduct technical training and check climbing gear.
A short but steep climb to advance camp. Trekking time: 3–4 hours. Overnight in tents.
Move higher to summit camp, preparing for the final push. Trekking time: 4–5 hours. Overnight in tents.
Start the summit push around midnight. Challenging ascent with technical sections. Enjoy breathtaking views from the summit, including Karakoram and Zanskar ranges. Descend to base camp. Trekking time: 10–12 hours.
Recover after the summit attempt and celebrate the achievement.
Cross the Kongmaru La Pass, with stunning views of the surrounding peaks. Trekking time: 7–8 hours. Drive back to Leh.
